Flowers hold tension in a way that facinates me. They are living, breathing, breeding, life-sustaining agents that seek light and reveal darkness at the same time. Fish, on the other hand, are part of the web of life and coastal peoples culture (90% of the world’s population live within miles of a coast). I portray them abstractly, but not symbolically.
